Rosalind Westlake

Ms. Westlake is of Counsel to the Bhuchar Law Firm. With over twenty years of experience, Ms. Westlake has worked in various areas of law, ranging from land use and planning to commercial and residential real estate transactions; from estate planning to asset sales and purchases; from prosecuting and defending in municipal court to business entity formation and corporate governance.

Ms. Westlake held a judicial clerkship position with the Hon. C. Judson Hamlin, P.J. Ch., (ret.) in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County until September of 1992.  After her judicial clerkship, Ms. Westlake joined the law firm of Borrus, Goldin, Foley, Vignuolo, Hyman & Stahl, PC in the fall of 1992; first as an associate, then as senior associate in 2000 and partner in 2003.

Public service has always been an important part of Ms. Westlake’s legal career. She served as First Alternate Municipal Prosecutor for East Windsor Township from 1997 through 2004 and was the Planning Board Attorney for Milltown Borough from 2009 through 2012.  She acted as one of the three Municipal Prosecutors for Edison Township for four years.  Ms. Westlake also serve as a member of the Planning Board in her home town of Delaware Township.  From 2001 through 2006, she was a member of the Board of Trustees for CASA of Mercer County, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocacy on behalf of children in the foster care system.  As Program Director, since 1999, of the Joseph Halpern-David Furman Inn of Court chapter of the American Inns of Court, Ms. Westlake has the opportunity to mentor young lawyers in the practice of law with professionalism, ethics and courtesy.  She also serves as an Advisory Board Member of Sage Girl, dedicated to the development of Independence and personal responsibility in today’s youth.
